Pray for Fort Hood

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and victims of the tragic shooting at Fort Hood today. I pray for the healing and well-being of those that are injured and for the comfort of the family of our brave fallen.

I also pray for the Fort Hood community. Although I was in the US Navy, most of my military experience was on Army posts, including my last duty station of Fort Meade, MD. Military communities are close-knit and I know that the Fort Hood community will come together and care for each other. I give my heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all the individual acts of caring and service that are taking place even now to address this devastating situation.

May peace and healing and faith and ultimately, justice and resolve come from this tragedy. Our God is an Awesome God and I bring these things to Him.
